Another side of Tiger

Tiger Woods shocked the world once again Sunday. This time though, he didn't come back from five strokes down, he didn't win a major on one good leg. No. Woods shocked the world in a different kind of way.

After entering the final round with a two shot lead, Tiger somehow manages to shoot one of his worst scores since the 2006 U.S. Open, handing the win over to Y.E. Yang. Very surprising since this was his first ever loss after going into the final round with the lead. Tiger is now 14-1 in that category.

It looked like a sure win for Tiger who finished the first round with a one stroke lead. Tiger then roared through the second round to end that day with a four shot lead.

On the third round though, Tiger got a little bit lazy. He wasn't the aggressive eagle-birdie Tiger we've all come to know. He tried to play it safe and stick to par, but the competition caught up leaving Tiger only to strokes up.

Tiger still kept the lead, albeit having a so-so day. But there was nothing to fear. This was Tiger Woods we were talking about. The man who had never lost a tournament when going into the final round with the lead. So what could possibly go wrong?

Well, something did go wrong. Tiger had lost his shot Sunday. On his final round, Tiger shot a 75 shooting for only two birdies and five bogeys. The previous three rounds, Tiger shot 12 birdies with only four bogeys.

At the end of it all when Tiger was asked about his final round let-down, he said he hit the ball well, but when it came down to the green, he just couldn't get the ball in the hole.

For those who arn't to familiar with the game of golf (Javier), just picture Kobe Bryant driving down the lane, slashing through defenders and crossing-over anyone in his path, but at the end of it, not being able to make the lay-up or the dunk. And Tiger didn't even have anyone in his face.

So what did we see? We saw Tiger blow a major after it pretty much had his name all over it. It's OK though, after all, Tiger Woods is human right? I guess we just found out.
