LA Dominating Baseball

Normally what was thought as a dream could possibly become reality in three months.

That dream is a freeway World Series.

The Los Angeles Dodgers as well as The Los Angeles (Anahiem) Angeles are No. 1 and 2 in Major League Baseball in August.

With only two months before the playoffs begin, the Dodgers and Angels are in no signs of slowing down as they continue to roll pass teams.

The Dodgers who made a slight trade at deadline improved as they picked up a set up reliever that can benefit them down the line in the playoffs.

The Angels who had a serious chance to get ace pitcher Roy Halladay but didn't pull the trigger, is looking the team of last year when they won 100 games.

As much as these examples sound great to believe that this dream of a freeway World Series is possible.

Let's not forget that as soon as October baseball arrives, anything can happen. Weird things happen every time once the playoffs come in baseball.

Last year the Dodgers carried the arrival of Manny Ramirez into the playoffs and swept the favorites to in the World Series last year; the Chicago Cubs.

As for the Angels who finished with a overall record 100-62, lost to the Boston Red Sox in the first round in four games. (It is not a surprise as the Angels always loses to the Red Sox every year in the playoffs.)

Either way as of right now Southern California is playing the best baseball in the nation.

All I hope is that these two teams can find their ways to get themselves into the World Seires so we can witness the first ever freeway World Series and the Dodgers could bring another World Series back to Los Angeles.
