Dodgers holding on

What is up with Manny 'El Maniaco' Ramirez?

It has been no secret that what was once an event every time Manny came to bat, is now a question mark, thinking if the man is even going get on base.

Ramirez as same for the rest of the Dodgers have been slipping up of the last weeks. As the Dodgers 9.5 game lead over the Colorado Rockies and San Francisco Giants has narrowed down to 4.5 games.

Dodger fans for the first time all season are near to press the panic button.

With winning the first two games against the Chicago Cubs in the 4-game series, and a 3-game series coming up against the Rockies. It is very important that the Dodgers win as many as they can in these seven games.

With unexpected injuries in the starting pitching rotation, the Dodgers have been scrapping to find pitchers to keep them in games.

Adding Relievers George Sherrill and Vicente Padilla, the Dodgers are hoping they can help them return to the early success the team had in the beginning of the season.

With a week to go in August and fairly easy month in September, Dodger analysis Eric Karros says the Dodgers have no problem holding the NL West and playing October ball.

Go Blue!
